Why Wikipedia Often Overlooks Stories of Women in History

The past few years have seen an increase in attention to the systemic discrimination facing women in a range of professions. Hollywood stars, journalists, and banking and government employees have all spoken out with stories of discrimination.  Discrimination is also a problem on user-driven sites like Wikipedia.
