How do you use Actively Learn in your classroom?

In-class reading, assigned reading for homework, and independent reading.

What problems were you experiencing in your classroom or school prior to adopting Actively Learn? 

Difficulty with helping students one on one.

How has Actively Learn helped improve your students’ learning and/or your teaching? 

It has been incredible for several reasons. First, I love the ability to differentiate feedback. The students get my feedback immediately, and I can help direct each student according to THEIR level.  Second, the data collection and record keeping capabilities are amazing. Again, I can review the data and use it to direct my lesson plans.  The record keeping allows for me to know for certain what exactly each student has completed.  Finally, I like the flexibility to modify each assignment. Adding support links, pictures, etc. have been beneficial for students to have at "their fingertips." Also, we can modify the questions, add, delete, etc. according to what our class is focusing on for that particular unit.

How do you use Actively Learn with your students? What type of content do you assign? 

Short stories, vocabulary, non-fiction

What advice would you have for teachers who are new to Actively Learn? 

It is a fantastic tool. I am still learning all the features of Actively Learn. It's amazing what you can do.
